How To Design A Principal Bedroom With A Skylight
See how H&H‘s Kai Ethier redecorated her principal bedroom and installed a VELUX skylight to create a dreamy reading nook. Practical storage solutions make the most of the small space, and a blush pink wall color gives the room a cozy, warm vibe.
The old bubble skylight in Kai’s third-floor bedroom was leaking so she visited a VELUX showroom to find a no-leak replacement. After the installation by Snow’s Construction, Kai removed the sliding doors leading to her deck, making the skylight the primary source of natural light. Below the skylight, Kai installed a dresser and a daybed with storage underneath. A modular closet hidden behind custom linen drapes keeps things organized.
Presented by VELUX.
