H&H‘s Sally Armstrong transformed her home’s third floor, which previously housed two guest rooms, into a dreamy oasis for her kids to live in. With two young girls at age 10 and 13, Sally created two friendly spaces that aren’t too childish, but are packed with personality.

After picking out the palette, Sally kept the fixed elements neutral and brought in strategic hits of color to each girls’ bedroom. While most of the walls are white, a Madeline Weinrib wallpaper runs down to the bottom of the stairs creating a graphic first impression. Garlands, both handmade and store-bought, bring color and personality to a white wall in one room while heart-shaped decals add energy to another. The shared lounge is the perfect hangout spot, featuring a custom L-shaped sectional with storage underneath, topped with global-inspired pillows. The bathroom is every little girl’s dream, with iridescent lilac mosaic tiles which cover the floor and entire shower.
