See Inside A Creative Family’s Artsy City Home
Artist Mark Puchala and his wife, Canada Goose creative director Michelle Donnelly, transformed a run down semi in Toronto’s West End into a creative and comfortable family home. See how they combined interesting art with a unique mix of furniture and finishes to create a space fit for family life with their 8-year-old son, Jack.
When they found the semidetached Victorian, it was run down and abandoned, but that didn’t stop the style-savvy couple from purchasing it. Working with an architect, they renovated the main floor to create an open kitchen and family room. With sliding glass doors that lead to the backyard, it’s the perfect chill zone for entertaining. An outdoor oasis, complete with a modern pool and patio set, acts as an extension of the indoors. A mix of high and low, vintage and classic pieces bring the rest of the space to life.
