Home design label DwellStudio‘s flagship store in New York’s SoHo neighborhood has a relaxed sensibility. Modern, eclectic and enduring, DwellStudio reflects its founder, Ottawa native Christiane Lemieux’s philosophy: “We’re tweaking, not decorating,” she explains. “It’s about constantly evolving spaces in an organic, seasonal way.” Driftwood candelabras cohabit with vintage brass ram bookends in the 2,700-square-foot space. Rewired light fixtures from Paris flea markets and 19th-century Indian cobra candlesticks add a touch of exoticism, while Belgian linens and textiles express the store’s luxe vibe.
