Christian Lacroix’s Prête-Moi Ta Plume wallpaper — adorning the walls of this powder room — is a favorite moment. “I love all the pattern in this house,” says the homeowner. “It’s not in your face; it’s just a lovely, soothing blend.”
“When I saw the wallpaper with figs, rabbits and swallows, it was perfect. It’s whimsical and feels fitting in an old house,” said actress Karine Vanasse of her Quebec chateau powder room. A vintage-inspired vanity and gallery wall complement the wallpaper.
“The powder room is small, so it gave us the opportunity to do something bold and dramatic,” says designer Karen Shearim. A faux finish on the walls was created using black paint and gold leaf.
Emily Griffin brightened up this powder room with a glossy-framed mirror and a white, space-saving sink. Whimsical leaf-print wallpapers — a recurring theme throughout — climb the walls and add a breezy, tropical vibe.
