Behr Announces 2021 Color Of The Year!

Behr just unveiled its 2021 Color Of The Year as Canyon Dusk (S210-4). This earthy terracotta shade creates an atmosphere of warmth with its connection to the Earth. “There is something so reassuring about dusk, the moment just after sunset, which brings the promise of a new day,” says Erika Woelfel, vice president of color and creative services at Behr. “From an awe-inspiring desert landscape to the color of sunbaked clay. Wherever it is found, we share a collective need for these moments of comfort and inspiration in the days ahead.”
Behr continues its theme of nature-inspired hues (remember their 2020 Color Of The Year, Back To Nature?) with tawny and raw Canyon Dusk. It encourages us to seek solace through the body and mind and start fresh in the new year. Use it on the walls in a bathroom to transform the space into a grounding sanctuary as beautiful as a Californian sunset.
When brushed onto the front door, it sets the tone for relaxing and unwinding once you step inside. Neutral tones — like off-white, grey-black and midnight blue — make Canyon Dusk perfect for modern, casual and traditional design styles.
