Natalie Tredgett’s London home is full of color and adventure. In her daughter’s bedroom, moody blue walls riff on a tonal color palette taken from the wall hanging behind the bed. A hot pink nightstand and quilt amp up the energetic vibe.

In another daughter’s bedroom, a cool table lamp and artful dresser are joyful elements against a vibrant pink wall. Purple and leopard drapes are a playful touch.

This homeowner’s daughter chose the wallpaper, drapes and paint for her room. “I like to involve kids in the design process for their rooms, and she loved pink and unicorns and fluffy things, so we went with it,” says designer Emilia Wisniewski.

Meanwhile, the homeowners’ chose a deep navy for their son’s bedroom, while Emilia selected a textured gorilla rug. “Kids spend so much time on their floors, so they have to be soft and inviting,” she says.
