Shops We Love: Find Sustainably Made Stoneware At Fable
Just two years after launching its online collection of sustainably made stoneware dishes, table linens and glassware, Fable has opened a gallery-like brick-and-mortar store on the West Queen West strip. A demonstration dining room at the back of the store will be changed up regularly with different art and furniture, which speaks to the brand’s versatile aesthetic — quiet, adaptable, ready to serve.

“We wanted people to be able to see the hand-finished details, and the subtle imperfections in the glazing, shapes and edges that make them so beautiful,” says Sung Lee, Fable’s creative director.
The stoneware is available in four core colors, from midnight blue to speckled white.
Flax linen napkins and tablecloths are woven in Belgium, available in oatmeal and soft grey.
