Beef & Broccoli Wontons Recipe
Step 1: In a small bowl, blend 4 tbsp soy sauce, 1/4 cup ginger, vinegar and honey. In a medium bowl, combine beef and next 6 ingredients. Mix in remaining 2 tbsp soy sauce and 2 tsp ginger.
Step 2: Place 5-7 wrappers on work surface and brush edges lightly with water. Place 1 heaping tsp of beef filling in centre of each wrapper. Fold wrappers diagonally in half and gently press edges to seal. Place wontons on a sheet of waxed paper. Repeat filling remaining wrappers with beef mixture.
Step 3: Preheat oven to 250°F. Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in large heavy skillet over medium heat. Add 1/4 of the wontons and fry until golden and filling is cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking sheet and place in oven to keep warm. Repeat frying with remaining wontons. Serve wontons with ginger dipping sauce.
