Brie & Oyster Mushroom Canapés Recipe
Step 1: Over medium heat, melt butter in a saucepan. Cook oyster mushrooms and chives for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper, cayenne and wine.
Step 2: Once the wine is reduced, lower heat, add pieces of Brie, and stir until cheese is almost melted. Spread should not be perfectly smooth. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 3: Preheat oven broiler. Remove crust from bread slices and cut in four. Cover all canapés with cheese spread and place them on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle with paprika.
Step 4: Place under broiler for 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
