Spiced Prune Chutney

Pair this recipe with Maple-Glazed Fresh Ham.

Ingredients
  • 1 1⁄4 cups diced, pitted prunes
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 star anise
  • 1⁄2 cinnamon stick
Directions Yield:  Makes 1 1/2 Cups
  1. Place 1 1⁄4 cups diced, pitted prunes, 1 cup red wine, 2 tbsp honey, 1 star anise and 1⁄2 cinnamon stick in medium saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Cook, stirring gently, until prunes are soft and liquid is syrupy, 12 to 15 minutes. Cool. Transfer to airtight container. Refrigerate up to
    2 weeks.
