Behr Announces 2022 Color Of The Year!

Behr just unveiled its 2022 Color of the Year as Breezeway (MQ3-21). This silvery green hue with cool undertones is inspired by seaglass found on the shore. It also signals a fresh start both in and outside of the home. “A new year brings the opportunity to embrace a sense of renewal and pursue untapped passions,” says Erika Woelfel, vice president of color and creative services at Behr Paint Company. “Breezeway inspires us to fully embrace the hobbies or adventures, both near and far, that excite us. We look forward to a color that welcomes a hopeful sense of renewal, restoration and healing.”

Behr continues its theme of nature-inspired hues (remember their 2021 Color of the Year, Canyon Dusk?) with cool and inviting Breezeway. It encourages us to experience the world with a fresh perspective. Use it on the walls in a home office to create a sense of serenity and spark creativity.

When brushed onto the front door, it sets the tone for relaxing and unwinding once you step inside. Go bold by pairing Breezeway with coral or yellow tones, or complement its calming presence with warm whites. Breezeway’s versatility means it can work in many different spaces, from casual to modern and beyond.
