Step aside, Barbie Pink: lime green is officially the color of the summer!
It all started with British singer Charli XCX‘s new album Brat, a hyper-pop record with a loud, unrefined cover washed in Pantone 3570-C. The album and its notorious green hue quickly spiralled into a fan favorite aesthetic on social media, deeming the ‘brat’ label a badge of honor and lime green the new it color.
Despite its purposeful use of the unconventional color, the New York Timessays Brat green has won over the internet. It’s even reached mainstream media heights, with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris embracing a lime green campaign for her democratic presidential nomination run. (The singer endorsed Harris with a post saying “Kamala is brat.”)
While this bold verdant might not be a go-to for interior decorating, its eclectic vibe is something to be inspired by. Here are six rooms serving up that “almost brat” energy.
