Actress, TV personality and House of Harlow 1960 creative director Nicole Richie has joined forces with Etsy for an exclusive Creator Collaboration . The desert-inspired collection brings the jewellery brand’s laid-back California aesthetic to life through handmade homewares. You can find ceramics, wall hangings and boho pillows reminiscent of golden afternoons and bonfire-filled summer nights. Scroll down to learn more about this dreamy collaboration and see our favorite products!
A Los-Angeles native and the daughter of singing sensation Lionel Richie, Nicole grew up surrounded by art, music and costumes, fostering her artistic expression and appreciation for the work of creative artisans. Each item in this collection was co-designed by Nicole and an Etsy maker, championing creative entrepreneurs and BIPOC-owned businesses, which make up nearly half of the sellers in this collection. “The experience of searching for artisans was so exciting and truly opened up a whole new door of inspiration for me,” says Nicole. “Being able to see the workmanship of different people within the Etsy community and to be able to collaborate with them has been one of the more creative experiences of my career.”
The limited-edition collection is Nicole’s first foray into home goods, but decorating has long been a passion of hers. “My home has always been an extension of my personal style and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a talented, diverse group of artisans on the Etsy platform — several of whom are from my home state of California,” she says.
These pet beds are crafted from cotton denim fabric printed with a rust ikat pattern. Removable inserts are stuffed with a soft down alternative fiber with baffling (channels) to help maintain the shape over time so they won’t get flat or lumpy with use.
