See Ellen DeGeneres’s Former Beverly Hills Mansion

It’s no secret that Ellen DeGeneres has one of the most impressive real estate portfolios around. Case in point: her former Beverly Hills mansion, which has just been listed for a whopping $33.7 million.
Dubbed the Skouras residence, Ellen lived in the 8,055-square-foot space from 2012 to 2014 and also featured it in her book, Home.

Tucked behind large gates and thick foliage, the home was built by celebrity architect Hal Leavitt in 1956.

Tall double wooden doors front the timeless façade.

The entryway opens to a light-filled living room, bar and game room, where floor-to-ceiling windows create an airy atmosphere.

A marble-clad bar is set right by the glass sliders, offering an indoor-outdoor feel.

A large pool table grounds the game room.

A casual, sun-filled seating area is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee.

The grand kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a generous amount of storage space.

The butler’s pantry comes complete with additional storage and a skylight.

Just off the kitchen is a family room that has a cozier look thanks to a mix of textures and comfy furnishings.

A large dining room opens to an exterior courtyard making entertaining easy.

The partially covered courtyard features an outdoor dining area and manicured greenery.

The home has another sitting area, which is currently being used as a music room.

A wall of built-in shelves creates a library feel in this bright and airy sitting room.

The spacious master bedroom comes complete with separate his and hers baths, and views that look out to a fountain.

Off the living room is an outdoor sitting area with a fireplace.

There’s also a swinging bed for sunny afternoon naps outdoors.

No celebrity home is complete without an impressive pool.

Lined with lounge chairs and a bar facing the city, the design mimics a hotel courtyard.
