A Minimalist, Mediterranean-style Bedroom
In this Toronto bedroom by designer Jaime Zimmerman, white walls and blond floors create a serene space. The addition of simple, sculptural details in the form of arched doorways and circular motifs imparts softness, for a Mediterranean-inspired take on the old “less is more” design adage.

A Renovated Lakehouse Principal Bathroom
The bathroom of Lynda Reeves’ romantic wood-panelled lakehouse is dressed with a cosy tribal rug and plenty of natural materials that nod to the beauty outside.

A Modern Kitchen In A Victorian Home
The compact kitchen in this Victorian home is updated by a wall of tiles and Serge Mouille-style sconces. The cream cabinets and backsplash are in sync with the home’s minimalist vibe.

A Sun-filled Cottage Dining Room
This dining room is angled south to catch morning and afternoon light, while floor-to-ceiling windows frame the view of the water.

A Modern Farmhouse-style Living Room
This Tuscan-inspired farmhouse designed by Halina Catherine was voted home of the year! In the great room, Halina blew open the roof and added timber beams that draw the eye up.
