Three Recipes From P.E.I. That Will Transport You To The Coast
Updated on January 8, 2024

From the people who know P.E.I.’s food scene best, farmers and fishers from all over the province got together and created the new cookbook, Canada’s Food Island. This cookbook features twists on the province’s staples such as Grilled Lemon and Prosecco Mussels and Steak with Lobster Dill Cream Sauce. The pages are packed with seafood, potatoes and everything else you could want from the little island.
Scroll down for three PEI recipes you need to try!

Oyster + Mushroom Toasts
There’s a tradition in P.E.I. to have big potlucks around the holiday season. This dish, with its bite-sized mushrooms and oysters, will definitely be a crowd pleaser.
