This smoothie, which first appeared in Kris’s book Crazy Sexy Kitchen, will make you the most popular guest at any holiday party. It’s sweet, a little spicy, and every bit as creamy and delicious as traditional nog (without the dairy, refined sugar, and booze). Nutmeg is a tummy soother, which means that you can indulge in this decadent treat while also keeping your digestive system happy.

Ingredients
  •  3 cups almond milk or non-dairy milk of choice
  • 1 banana
  • 1⁄2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg (using Microplane or other grater)
  • 1⁄2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 2 pitted Medjool dates
Directions Yield:  Makes 2 Servings (24 to 30 oz.)
  1.  Wash and prep all ingredients.
  2. Blend till smooth and serve.
