Shops We Love: Much & Little

A former interior designer, Sarah Savoy is drawn to objects that connect her to the past. Her store, Much & Little, showcases vintage-inspired housewares on Vancouver’s East Side. “I love that many new, independent designers are choosing to go back to well-crafted pieces that evoke memories,” she says.

Reclaimed wood shelving displays desirable objets like tropical terrariums in vintage mason jars and sumptuous cotton duvet covers from Matteo in soothing hues like crisp white and pewter. A vintage baker’s table anchors the store and showcases locally produced bridle leather wallets and bread knives from Santa Fe, New Mexico, inlaid with beautiful wood marquetry. Tea towels printed with flora and fauna by Toronto-based Bookhou and handmade brass and copper jewelry from Chicago’s Laura Lombardi reflect the overall organic feel.
