See Kristen Wiig’s Charming New $4.9M Pasadena House
Kristen Wiig has swapped one historic Pasadena house for another, according to Dirt. The SNL alumni, actress, comedian, screenwriter and producer — who’s set to star opposite Carol Burnett in the upcoming Apple-scripted comedy series “Mrs. American Pie” — has bought a striking 4,000-square-foot Federal-style estate. It’s only a few blocks from her former Pasadena home — which she recently sold to fellow actress Lily Collins. Kristen’s property lies on a picturesque street in a sought-after neighborhood pocket, where nearby neighbors include Meryl Streep, Grimes and Oscar De La Hoya.

The three-bedroom, four-bathroom house is a traditional beauty with a red-brick exterior. Originally built in 1930, it was given a complete contemporary overhaul by the previous owners in collaboration with architect Kevin Oreck and interior designer Deborah Rhein. The formal living room sports a tiled fireplace and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves.
