Before & After: A Toronto Condo Is Transformed Into A Warm, Art-Filled Retreat

Presented by Häfele Lighting

Designer Natasha Popek-Konieczko, principal of Common Good Studio, takes us inside a Toronto condo reimagined for art- and book-loving collectors who wanted a home that reflects their personality. Clever design moves, including fluted detailing throughout, a statement green fireplace and a palette inspired by emerald tones, bring warmth and cohesion to the space. Traditional and modern art coexist beautifully, while custom millwork, a bespoke medicine cabinet and layered textures give the compact home a hotel-like feel. “Small spaces always feel like they need to be edited,” says Natasha, “but this condo demonstrates that if you fill a space with interesting pieces that you love, the feeling you get is very joyful.”
