A Heritage House Gets A Modern Makeover

For this makeover, Svetlana Tryaskina’s goal was to create a refined, modern look that respected the heritage of the house. The designer added functionality throughout and updated rooms with color and wallpaper to help keep the project on budget. When a total kitchen renovation was out of the question, Svetlana decided to work with the existing base cabinets and countertops, and brought in a new, understated backsplash and custom uppers painted in a fresh green.
