Before & After: This Family Home Gets An Indoor/Outdoor Makeover

In this Toronto home, Saara Mortson of Mortson Interior Design Inc. and Deborah Mesher of Drole House Inc. came together to blend indoor-outdoor design. They updated and expanded the front porch, replacing old stucco with a red brick-like tile facade. Inside, they removed walls, doors and cramped hallways for better flow, while integrating room partitions, including an original pocket door in the living room. A contemporary kitchen with durable materials and a spacious mudroom brings much-needed function to the busy family of five. Watch the full tour here!
