This Edgy Kitchen Hadn’t Been Renovated Since The ’80s!

Get inspired by this inviting kitchen with graphic soapstone countertops. Designer Ines Mazzotta of Kelly Hopter Interiors renovated the space in just six weeks using a black and white palette and wood accents for warmth (think: a stunning Indonesian rosewood armoire from Kijiji). See how glazed white tiles give an airy, hand-made touch to the vent hood, and a galvanized iron pendant adds a hit of metallic shimmer. The pièce de résistance is an apron-front soapstone sink with subtle veining.
