Architect and designer Darcie Watson transformed the third floor of her home, which used to be a B&B, into a striking open-concept bedroom and ensuite. See how she created a space that exudes total luxury using contemporary finishes and vintage furniture. Plus, tour her stunning main floor here!

In the hotel-inspired master suite, a three-sided fireplace with a peninsula is the only division between the bedroom and bathroom, allowing the two spaces to blend into each other. Clean, modern finishes provide the ideal backdrop for vintage mid-century modern furniture. While cool neutral tones dominate the palette, elements like vintage rope, leather and veined marble add character and warmth throughout.
