In Toronto’s Riverdale neighbourhood, designers Jessica Dynbeko and Tamara Robbins Griffith of Kerr Interiors reimagine a long semi-detached house with the goal of maximizing flow and function. The newly designed mid-century modern–inspired space centres on an extendable dining table and a built-in bench with concealed storage that doubles as extra seating for entertaining. The kitchen is finished in Benjamin Moore’s Deep Secret, a rich slate-blue colour paired with walnut accents and quartz countertops. A cozy living room showcases the homeowners’ record collection, while a hardworking mudroom and laundry room ensure every square foot is thoughtfully used.
