#1: A Winning Design In The Kitchen

This winning custom kitchen featured two different styles of cabinets from Merit Kitchens — Prairie School for the wall cabinets, Manhattan for the island. In addition to the kitchen, Luxe Kitchens designed the cabinets in the laundry room and adjoining living room to establish a continuous design and flow.

#2: Incorporate A Style Mash-up That Works

This kitchen uses three different finishes (Espresso, Nouget and Natural Maple for the cabinets, but keeping them all in a similar door style prevents it from looking disjointed.

#3: Make Your Island Do Double-duty

It’s always a bonus when you can fit storage into a kitchen island. It’s even better if it looks beautiful. The kitchen island and cabinets which face the living room, are painted in a dark Espresso stain and helps ground the large island. The wall cabinets with glass are painted in Nouget.

#4: Create Storage In The Living Room

The shaker style cabinets used in the kitchen are carried through to the cabinets in the recessed arches and painted in Nougat. The white oak shelves tie into the flooring and offers an additional spot for displaying treasures.

#5: Get Organized In The Laundry Room

Luxe Kitchens brought the transitional aesthetic from the kitchen to the laundry room. The dark stained Alder cabinets help add visual contrast to this bright new laundry and mudroom.

#6 A Tailored Look For The Bathroom

Fluted panelling and flat front drawers gives a sophisticated look to the bathroom and allows the hardware to shine.

#7 A Dreamy Walk In Closet

This walk-in closet is custom designed with a centre island. Using the same shaker style doors as the kitchen and the living room, the cabinets help bring consistency through the various spaces. Plus, a closet this organized is sure to add value!
