Golara Ghasemi, principal designer of Studio Golara, transformed her city bungalow into a three-storey home. The open, airy design is highlighted by soaring ceilings, a tall plaster fireplace, recurring curves and a soft, quiet palette that nods to country style. The home bar is a focal point, featuring custom fluted millwork and a mirrored backsplash. Having moved from Iran to Canada, Golara designed her home with family in mind. “You want to consider your family’s lifestyle and be able to host beautiful parties comfortably in your home,” she says.
