Designer of the Year Tommy Smythe takes us on a tour of the November cover house.

Tommy’s clients are a young couple with small children who wanted an exuberant house filled with joyful colour. He went for it! Tommy filled the narrow, 19th-century Toronto row house with a mix of bold patterns, rich paint colours, antiques and new pieces. “It’s modern, it’s old, it’s contemporary and it’s vintage,” says Tommy.
