How To Make A House & Home Caesar

Elevate the quintessential Canadian cocktail with this recipe that’s a giant step up from the average caesar. Created by the team at Walter, the makers of Canadian all-natural craft caesar mix, this version is made with only real, high-quality ingredients — including clam juice from a sustainable fishery — and is prepared in small batches in Canada.
Cofounders and partners Josh Linde, Zack Silverman and Aaron Harowitz share their tips for making a better caesar, and their recipe for a House & Home Caesar below.
- Use premium spirits. Using a premium spirit is always the starting point. The quality of the alcohol you use makes a big difference in the finished product.
- Add lots of ice. We think the very best way to make a caesar is to fill the glass with chunks of ice right up to the rim.
- Squeeze in some fresh citrus. There’s no replacement for fresh citrus. A squeeze of fresh lime or lemon always brightens up a caesar and makes it better.
- Get a great mix. Using a premium all-natural mix that is made in Canada is the most important thing, of course!
