Calgary mattress brand Black Sheep Mattress Co. has opened a second store. The new Toronto location offers sustainable, handcrafted, built-to-order mattresses including the Oxford, which is created with layers of natural latex that can be customized to create the perfect level of firmness. The nontoxic and organic materials used are sourced responsibly, with offcuts turned into upcycled products such as dryer balls, pet beds, poufs and more.

Furniture and lighting from Swedish brand Sekt is now available in North America! The company works with local craftspeople who use materials from nearby EU countries. This sculptural handblown glass Puritan table lamp sits on a bronze base.

To extend the life of your fabric food wraps, try Earthology’s Re-waxing DIY kit. Each wax tablet is made of locally harvested beeswax, coniferous tree resin and organic jojoba. Grate over the worn areas of a well-used wrap and bake in the oven at 200°F for three minutes to melt. Reuse and refresh as needed.

Miele’s newest vacuum sealing drawer is a sleek, black and stainless steel appliance installed under a wall oven with a minimal interior display.
