Bedrooms are highly personal spaces united by an overriding function: they’re a place to rest and recharge.
That means different things to different readers, so vote for our best bedroom of 2020 below! This year, we saw a lot of calming white with plenty of natural accents, but we want to know: which one would deliver the sweetest slumber for you?

January: A Calming, Contemporary Bedroom
Art curator Pamela Meredith wanted her bedroom to feel like it was in nature. The walls are enveloped in white oak and a window at the back (not shown) overlooks the lush trees outside of the Victorian townhouse.

April: A Wood-Panelled Lakeside Bedroom
Designer Barbara Purdy payed homage to this renovated bungalow’s cottage soul with wide-plank oak flooring on the walls of the principal bedroom, which creates a headboard effect. She continued the natural theme with relaxed bedding in neutral tones.
